Summary: Vernatte collects only what's necessary to process your purchases and operate the store. We don't sell your data. We use Firebase for authentication, Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare for file storage. You can delete your receipt history at any time from My Receipts.
1. Who We Are
Vernatte is a digital products marketplace operated by Marc-Arthur Samuel Dalus under Cobinar Systems. The platform is available at vernatte.com.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:
- Account information — name and email address when you sign in with Google via Firebase Authentication.
- Purchase information — payment details (processed securely by Stripe), product purchased, amount paid, and timestamp. We never store raw card numbers.
- Receipt data — order records saved to your Vernatte account in Firestore, visible only to you in My Receipts.
- Usage data — basic analytics such as page views and product views, collected to improve the store.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and record your purchases.
- To display your purchase history in My Receipts.
- To provide access to products you've purchased.
- To communicate important account or purchase updates (not marketing).
- To improve the store experience and fix bugs.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights and Data Control
- Access — view all your purchase receipts in My Receipts at any time.
- Deletion — delete individual receipts from your account directly in My Receipts.
- Account removal — email us at vernatte@vernatte.com to request full account deletion.
- Portability — request a copy of your data by emailing us.
Stripe retains payment records independently as required by financial regulations. We cannot delete those on your behalf.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
Vernatte uses browser localStorage to remember your shopping cart and authentication state. No third-party advertising cookies are used. Firebase uses IndexedDB to persist your sign-in session locally.
7. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Stripe handles card data under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. Firebase data access is protected by security rules — your receipts are only readable by your own account. File downloads are served through authenticated Cloudflare Workers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Vernatte after changes constitutes acceptance.
